Customer Expectations
New Beginning Construction’s role on a construction project is to be the customer’s advocate, not their adversary.
We are their representative during the entire construction process. The customer is THE ONE who must be completely satisfied with the job. Satisfaction includes the price, appearance and quality of the work performed. An on-time completion is essential. A satisfied customer is one who has been kept well informed throughout the job process. We pledge to meet with you on a regular basis to cover all critical aspects of your project.
We will offer suggestions to the customer which, in our opinion, would improve the quality and/or functionality of the end product. We should never take on a project and just “build to plan” if we feel there is a better alternative. We will communicate directly with the customer and let him or her make the final decision as to how to proceed. We PLEDGE to always work with the customer’s best interests in mind. A satisfied customer is the result of a successful job, managed by a professional, customer-focused contractor.
Quotation/Bid Process
We will make every effort to completely understand what you are trying to accomplish and will quote the project at the best overall value for our client.
Value includes consideration for quality of material, workmanship and the expected completion date.
The customer must thoroughly understand the scope of work covered by our quotation/bid.
During the quote/bid process the customer and the contractor should develop a feel for the “fit” of the relationship between the two parties.
We strongly recommend that the customer select a contractor who is a good “fit” in terms of trust and confidence, then, work out the details of price, quality of material, workmanship and project timeline with THAT contractor. “Cheap” verses “competent and trustworthy” is no contest.
Change Orders
Change orders are inevitable with many jobs. They occur for various reasons but the majority are due to upgrade requirements in local or state codes, issues with architectural drawings or customer changes to the original scope of work.
When change orders occur, they will be clearly discussed with the customer and a Change Document will be signed by both parties before additional work begins.
Multiple changes can be handled on one document if the customer prefers.
Our pricing on changes will be cost competitive and not priced as if we have a captive client.
We Want To Earn Your Business
We intend to earn your business by following through on all of the statements and pledges above.
We know that an excellent reputation is built on excellent results, one project at the time.
Please allow us to fill the role as your professional, customer-focused contractor.
